Threat Report Prompts Sweep Of Adirondack Educational Center

A report of a threat made by an Adirondack Educational Center student prompted a K-9 sweep of the building on Wednesday, but Tupper Lake Village Police Chief Eric Proulx said the department’s investigation found that there was no threat made. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports police say a Tupper Lake student talking with other students in a group chat made comments that seem to have gotten “turned around” into a perceived threat toward the Franklin-Essex-Hamilton BOCES building.
