The Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Committee wrapped up with a meeting to discuss what went well and what needs improvement for next year. Sun Community News reports first-year Chairman Rob Russell estimated the committee contributed more than 200,000 volunteer hours from start to finish, resulting in a successful carnival. Several committee members suggested establishing clearer guidelines about the parade.
