A Saranac Lake man and a woman from Vermontville were arrested after police say they found them in possession of multiple narcotics at a local hotel. Lake Placid Police were alerted to investigate a complaint of a disoriented woman seen in a hallway of the Courtyard by Marriott Lake Placid on March 14. Investigators found Ryan S. Morgan, 49, and Samantha L. Plowe, 34. in a room and obtained a search warrant du ring which police found an unspecified amount of narcotics, including cocaine, crack cocaine and Ecstasy.
