The Ironman Lake Placid triathlon is one step closer to securing another three-year contract extension from local leadership.
According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, North Elba Town Council voted unanimously Tuesday to authorize Supervisor Derek Doty to sign a three-year contract extension with Ironman. The contract extension was approved as presented, meaning that the town council did not request any alterations to the contract as a condition of Doty’s signature.
