The Shipman Youth Center Board of Directors met recently to discuss transforming the longtime I Love BBQ and Music Festival — a three-day event — into a trimmed down single-day event this summer that would still include food and music.
The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports they also decided to change the name of the event to honor the memory of the festival’s lead organizer and former Shipman Youth Center Board of Directors President Dmitry Feld, who died in January at the age of 68.
