Lake Placid attorney Amy Fisher Quinn ended her bid for Essex County judge on Thursday following her appointment to the New York state Court of Claims. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports as of Tuesday afternoon, the Essex County Democratic Committee has not announced who will run for the judgeship in Quinn’s place. She has already started her new role at the Court of Claims and is currently also serving as an acting state Supreme Court justice.
