North Country Community College is proposing a nearly $16 million budget for the coming academic year. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports as costs continue to rise for the college, which has more than 1,000 students enrolled, it is ending a coronavirus pandemic-era tuition freeze and raising its rates slightly for the first time in four years, as well as asking Franklin and Essex counties to contribute more toward its operation.
