A Lake Placid man is facing a felony grand larceny charge for allegedly stealing more than $1,000 from his place of employment. Lake Placid Village Police said 50 year old John E. Cayea Jr. was arrested Sept. 24 for fourth-degree grand larceny following a recent theft investigation. Cayea was issued an appearance ticket for Village Court at a later date.
