American Legion Department of New York Commander Keith Koster recently presented a $100,000 check to Homeward Bound Adirondacks (HBA) on a visit to HBA’s veterans retreat site in the Town of Malone. The donation is part of the Department of New York’s effort to stem veteran post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), homelessness and suicide by supporting organizations that address those issues.
