A multi-day storm system will likely slam the door shut on the prolonged drought the area has been experiencing throughout this month. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports the Tri-Lakes is expected to receive about an inch of rain from the storm through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service, with most of it falling today into Friday morning.
