ALCA mourns the passing of past Director Betsy Folwell. She was the director of the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts from 1980-1988 and received the 2007 Harold K. Hochschild Award from the Adirondack Museum. She was the first director of education at the Adirondack Museum and went on to be the director of ALCA – then exceling on to be the editor and creative director of Adirondack Life magazine.
