Three new bus shelters in Lake Placid and North Elba were celebrated May 12 as the Rotary Club of Lake Placid extended gratitude to community partners and donors involved. Sun Community News reports the ceremony included remarks from community leaders and representatives of organizations whose generous contributions made this project possible, featuring representatives of the Rotary Club, Uihlein Foundation, Adirondack Foundation’s Generous Acts Fund and the North Elba Local Enhancement and Advancement Fund (LEAF).
