Stec Honors Tupper Lake Lions Club

Recently, Senator Dan Stec (R.C-Queensbury) honored the Tupper Lake Lions Club for its recent 90th anniversary. Stec presented an official Senate proclamation to past Lions Club president Stuart Nichols in Tupper Lake Village Hall, where he was joined by Tupper Lake Mayor Mary Fontana and Town Supervisor Rick Dattola. The Adirondack Explorer reports the senator stated he appreciated having the opportunity to recognize the longest-serving Lions Club in Northern New York and its continued fulfillment of Helen Keller’s mission statement for the organization to serve as “knights of the blind.”
