A finalist has been named in the search for a new superintendent for the Lake Placid Central School District. The Lake Placid school board is working to finalize an agreement with Malone resident Timothy Seymour to replace Roger Catania, who is retiring from the role of superintendent after eight years of leading the district. Seymour has been the superintendent for the St. Regis Falls Central School District since 2019. He also was the principal and program director of Northern Borders Academy and P-TECH.
