Saranac Lake High School athletic director Eric Bennett is stepping down and becoming a full time 12th-grade English teacher. The Adirondack Daily Entperise reports Bennett will pass the reins to Bill Peer. Peer has been a major part of the athletic department at Saranac Lake, as he has coached cross country, track and girl’s hockey, over the course of around 20 years. Bennett was AD for seven years.
