Upgrades Coming To Jay Playground

Children in the town of Jay will have some new playground equipment soon. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports the town’s Park Committee raised enough money to update the children’s park on Randy’s Lane, off Stickney Bridge Road near the Jay Covered Bridge. Members are planning to build an open-air shelter area and purchase four new pieces of playground equipment — butterfly and flower structures for climbing on, an infant fun center and a merry-go-round called a “Whirl-a-Round.”
