Adirondack Health is again requiring COVID-19 tests for all inpatient admissions and elective surgical procedures, regardless of vaccination status. Officials say the requirement was reinstated because the North Country regional COVID-19 positivity rate has increased to 2.4%. percent, necessitating the change in testing policy. Appointments and pre-registration are still required.
