A proposal for a new dress code in the Lake Placid Central School that would let high schoolers wear hats in classrooms was tabled this week by the Board of Education. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports the board wants to hear more feedback from teachers about allowing hats in the high school before voting on the new policy. A group of students last fall voiced their issues with the policy that doesn’t allow hats in class.
