State Police arrested Andrew L. Cowden, 35, of Bloomingdale, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree.
On July 25, 2021, at approximately 3:27 p.m., State Police were called to State Route 30 in the town of Tupper Lake for a report of larceny of an electric scooter.
A preliminary investigation determined that when the owner of the scooter returned home, they noticed the scooter missing from their driveway.
The investigation determined that the scooter was observed parked near the wood line near Ivy Terrace for several hours with wires hanging from the front. A witness stated that they observed two males behind Ivy Terrace with the scooter.
Cowden was arraigned in the village of Tupper Lake Court and is due to reappear on April 4, 2022
