Franklin County officially adopted the budget for fiscal year 2023 during the regular meeting of the legislative board Thursday at the courthouse in Malone. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the spending plan includes no increase in the tax levy.
Total appropriations rose slightly between the tentative and adopted budget, going from $118,284,501 to $119,936,717 but the added costs were offset by the county reserve fund.
