On January 1, 2023, Troopers arrested Robert J. Lavallee, age 53, of Saranac Lake, NY for making a terroristic threat
On January 1, 2023, around 7:35 a.m., Troopers responded to State Route 86, in the town of Harrietstown for a possible terroristic threat. An investigation determined Lavallee was making numerous calls to the New York State dispatch call center on December 27, 2022, threating to shoot people if they stepped on his property.
Lavallee was arrested and transported to SP Ray Brook for processing. He was arraigned in the Town of Tupper Lake Court and remanded to Franklin County Jail on $250.00 cash bail or $500.00 bond.
