State Police arrested Kaitlyn J. Lauber, age 25, Lincoln L. Delaney, age 32, and Nathan A. Nichols, age 38, all from Malone, for criminal possession of controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon. Troopers initiated a traffic stop, interviewed the driver who was identified as Lauber. During the interview, Troopers observed a glass smoking device containing drug residue. The driver and passengers were asked to get out of the vehicle for further interviews. An investigation revealed the driver, Lauber, the front passenger, Delaney, and rear passenger, Nichols were in possession of drug paraphernalia. Located in the vehicle was a large quantity of cocaine, digital scale, and a 9mm 15 round magazine.
