LP Man Charged With Murder, And Could Be Charged In Second Case

A Lake Placid man is charged with murder in St. Lawrence County and may be charged with a second homicide. 46 year old Adam Smith was apprehended last Thursday in a stolen vehicle. Police say it belonged to 67-year-old William Freeman, who was found stabbed to death the same day at his home in the town of Rossie. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, Smith was charged with second-degree murder. Also, St. Lawrence County district attorney Gary Pasqua said investigators believe Smith is also connected to the murder of 72 year-old Ronald Durham.
