They need volunteers at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, Mercy Living Center in Tupper Lake, the Lake Placid Health and Medical Fitness Center, and their health centers. To become an adult volunteer, you must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to at least four hours a week for at least six months of service. The application process includes completing an application, interview, criminal investigation check, drug screening, physical exam, immunizations if needed, and volunteer orientation.
