SP Malone conducted a traffic stop of a 2010 Ford F150, on State Route 3, town of Clifton, St. Lawrence County. The operator of the vehicle, Jason M. Benware, age 34 from Tupper Lake, NY was found in possession of narcotics consisting of approximately 3.1 ounces of Crystal Methamphetamine and approximately 250 baggies of heroin/fentanyl. He was arraigned in Pierrepont Town Court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, in Canton, on no bail.
