The Lake Placid Central School Board of Education wrapped up public hearings this week for its proposed 2023-24 budget and its plans to use the district’s repair reserve fund for an estimated $1 million in upgrades to the middle-high school’s weight room and auditorium. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports the board didn’t field any direct comments on line items in its proposed $21.7 million 2023-24 budget during two public hearings.
