Forty artists are packing up their paints and canvases from Texas to Illinois, and
Maryland to Maine and will be heading to the Adirondacks for a week of
wonderful painting. The 2023 Adirondack Plein Air Festival will start on August 14
and culminate with the huge Show & Sale, on August 19, held in the Town Hall in
Saranac Lake. The event has grown from an opportunity for local artists to get together and paint outdoors,
to a nationally recognized painting experience that often attracts nearly 100
applications.
