A motorcyclist was critically injured after being hit by a car on Route 9N Sept. 11. EMS responded to the intersection of Route 9N and Route 73 at about 4:10 p.m. Monday for reports of a collision with severe injuries. 57 year old Lynn P. Dewalt of Keene was traveling northbound on Route 9N when an oncoming car driven by Andrea M. Palermo, 35, of Vermontville turned onto Route 73, hitting him in the intersection. Dewalt was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
