Franklin County director of tourism Phil Hans addressed lawmakers last week prior to their regular meeting to request the creation of a trail coordinator position to replace the trail consultant as the department aims to expand and improve multi-use trails across the area. According to the Adirondack Daily Enteprise, he said the project has progressed to the point where a full-time trail coordinator is necessary.
