Comptroller Releases LPCSD Audit Results

New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli released the audit for Lake Placid Central School District, Oct. 25. The two concerns the audit raised were “District officials did not develop and manage a comprehensive investment program” and “District officials did not apply for all applicable transportation state aid for new bus acquisitions.” Audits of LPCSD are typically done every five years, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been about eight years.
