New Program To Protect Drinking Water

DEC and the state Department of Health have announced a new initiative to assist municipalities with assessing and supporting drinking water source protection programs. As part of the Drinking Water Source Protection Program (DWSP2), up to 40 volunteer communities will work with technical assistance partners to develop programs that proactively protect public drinking water supplies.

Vaccine Clinic In Franklin County

Franklin County Public Health will hold a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at St. Andre’s Outreach Center, 12 Homestead Park (formerly Holy Family School) in Malone on Friday, May 7th from 10am-12:30pm for those who are 18 or older and live, work, or study in New York. Reservations To Use St. Huberts Parking Lot

Hikers looking to summit mountains from the St. Huberts parking lot, owned by the Adirondack Mountain Reserve, must now get a reservation.
