Essex County COVID Numbers

Essex County, NY Public Health Tuesday reported 41 additional cases of COVID since last Thursday with the highest single day being last Friday when there were 16 new cases reported. Of the 41 cases reported, 16 were in people who had been fully vaccinated.

AMC Seeing More COVID Hospitalizations

Six people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19 at Adirondack Medical Center, the most people hospitalized at once there in 19 months of the pandemic. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports the usual numbers have swung between 0 and 3 for much of the pandemic. Hospitalizations usually come into play when someone is having difficulty breathing.
