Lake Placid Sinfonietta 2025 Summer Concert Season

The Lake Placid Sinfonietta recently announced its 2025 Summer Concert Season, bringing classical music to the heart of the Adirondacks with a rich lineup of free outdoor performances, ticketed symphony concerts, and regional “run-out” events. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. every Wednesday from July 9 through August 13 in Mid’s Park.

Lake Placid Marathon And Half Returns

The Lake Placid Marathon and Half is returning here this weekend for its 20th running. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports so far, more than 1,200 people are signed up for the event, which will span across three different races — the full (26.2 miles) and half (13.1 miles) marathons and the 10-kilometer race.
