The first annual Adirondack Nature Festival for People with Disabilities will be held at the Paul Smith’s Visitor Interpretive Center on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the festival is a free and accessible event that is planned to run rain or shine.

The village of Tupper Lake has planned a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday to celebrate the installation of new docks and wayfinding signage at its waterfront park. Hockey-Themed Arcade, Restaurant Proposed For Lake Placid

The North Elba-Lake Placid Review Board heard a proposal Wednesday for a new hockey-themed arcade and restaurant planned for Main Street. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, local resident Kristeen Colby has applied for authorization to open the arcade in the lower story of 2663 Main St., where Mito Japanese Steakhouse is currently located.
