New Village Manager, Treasurer Reported In Saranac Lake

The mayor of Saranac Lake Jimmy Williams has appointed a new treasurer and village manager following an altercation between him and former village manager Erik Stende who subsequently resigned. Williams has appointed village treasurer Bachana Tsiklauri to serve as village manager and deputy treasurer Patrick Murphy as treasurer.

Adirondack Land Trust Annual Meeting

DEC has announced $1 million in grant funding is now available through the second round of the State’s Community Forest Conservation Grant Program.
