The Empire State Winter Games return, February 2-5, 2023, to the Adirondack’s North Country region. Some 2,000 athletes of all ages, from New York State and beyond, are expected to participate in more than 20 sports throughout Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake and Paul Smiths. One of the sports highlighting the 43rd Empire State Winter Games is bobsled. On Thursday, Mount Van Hoevenberg is hosting the two-day IBSF World Push Championships.
