Wilmington’s 15th annual Christmas Celebration will take place Dec. 9. The festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m., as Santa, escorted by firetrucks, holiday floats and community members, delivers presents to children’s homes. Sun Community News reports at 6 p.m. the parade will go to Preston Festival Field, where everyone is welcome to gather to enjoy hot chocolate and music. At 7:15 p.m., the fireworks will start.
