Local Groups Can Apply For Money From Opioid Settlement

Franklin County has around half a million dollars it is ready to give to local organizations working in the field of addiction treatment, the product of several lawsuit settlements New York state has reached with the manufacturers, distributors and sellers of opioids. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports organizations and agencies can apply for a piece of this funding from the Franklin County Community Services office by May 19 and the money will be distributed by June 30.
