Since Friday’s crash that killed one local teen and injured two others, the Saranac Lake, Lake Placid and surrounding communities have rallied support for the families of the boys involved. Friends and family have started GoFundMe fundraisers for Lucas’s funeral expenses and to support Jonah’s family as they stay by his side while he’s in critical condition. Together, all of the fundraisers have raised tens of thousands of dollars.
