Men Indicted In Area Murder Case

Roughly six months after the brutal death of Kenneth Darrah, the two suspects in his murder have been indicted on additional charges and will reappear in court later this week to face the allegations. In March, the 37 year old’s body was discovered on the shoreline beneath the Ausable Chasm Bridge, victim of a violent late-night confrontation and beating. Michael J. Rougeau, 48, and Michael A. Nastasia, 30, of Plattsburgh were arrested for second-degree murder in the case. On Sept. 6, an indictment was filed with Essex County Court charging both with second-degree murder.
